*TASHAHHUD IS LOFTY...DON'T RUSH*
*Different wordings of the Tashahhud in the prayer*
💡There are several versions that are mentioned in the Sunnah.
_The worshiper may say any version of Tashahhud and this would be sufficient for him._
*Imaam Ahmad and Abu Haneefah* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn Mas'ood_
★ It's chain of narrators is more confirmed.
*Ash-Shaafi'I* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn ‘Abbaas_
★ It includes a more comprehensive meaning.
*Imaam Maalik* _chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by 'Umar_
★ He taught it to the people on the pulpit.
_"Abu Haneefah and Ahmad chose the Tashahhud wording narrated by Ibn Mas’ood which includes ten phrases:_
*“Attahiyyaatu lillaahi, was-Salawaatu at-Tayyibaat*
_All Glorification is due to Allah, all prayers and good words are for Allah_
*assalaamu `alayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu*
_May Allaah exalt your mention, O Prophet; mercy and blessings be upon you._
*as-salaamu `alayna wa `ala ibaadillaahi as-saaliheen.*
_Peace be upon us and all of Allah’s righteous slaves._
*Ash-hadu alla ilaaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluh*
_I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger_
*AFTER ATTIYAAT IS DUA...Any dua*
★ Durood e Ibrahim
★ Rabbana aatina fid duniya...
★ *Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, wa min 'athaabi jahannama, wa min fitnatil-mahyaa walmamaati, wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-dajjaal.*
_O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell-fire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah._
*اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ*
Al-Bukhari 2/102, Muslim 1/412, and this is Muslim's wording.
*Allaahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman katheeran wa laa yaghfir ul-dhunoob illa anta, faghfir li maghfiratan min ‘indaka warhamni, innaka anta al-Ghafoor al-Raheem*
*(O Allaah, indeed I have wronged myself greatly, and there is none who forgives sins besides You. So grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me, for You are the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful).’”*
_This du’aa’ may be recited in the final Tashahhud, after the prayers_
